Reply to a message in any Telegram chat with @folybot remind me Fri. On Friday at 10:00 AM the bot sends you the quote, the person’s name and two buttons: “Done” and “Not yet”. It doesn’t read your chats.

Three gestures
- 🔔 Forward it to the bot. Forward a message to @folybot and it asks when to remind you: “Tomorrow”, “3 days” or “1 week”. No typing, and the other person never finds out.
- 💬 Reply with a mention. In any chat, reply to a message with
@folybot remind me Fri. The bot answers in the chat with a short 🔔 and sends the confirmation to your private chat with it. A day without an hour means 10:00 AM. - 📅 Name a meeting time. Type
@folybot meeting tomorrow at 3pmin the chat. A card appears, and an event with Meet shows up in your Google Calendar. The other person taps “Agree”, and Google adds them to the event.
What other people see
The bot gets only the messages you forward to it and the ones you reply to with a mention of @folybot. It doesn’t read the rest of your chats.
A forward to the bot is visible to nobody but you: the other person won’t know you set a reminder. A mention is different. Everyone in the chat sees your reply, time included (“remind me Fri”), and the bot’s short answer: 🔔, or “Didn’t catch the time 🤔” if it couldn’t read the time. The confirmation, the reminder and its text come only to you, in your chat with the bot. Everyone in the chat sees a meeting card, because it’s for both of you.
What’s stored: the message text (up to 1000 characters), the author’s name and username, the chat title, the times of reminders and meetings, your notes and deals, and, if you connect Google, your email and access to the events the bot created. The database sits on an encrypted disk, and backups are encrypted with a separate key. We don’t sell your data or use it for ads or for training models. The full list is in the privacy policy.
Why not Saved Messages or Telegram’s own reminders
For Telegram to remind you, you forward the message to Saved Messages and then, on the day, try to recall who it was with and what it was about. Folybot sets the reminder right in the chat with the person, with one reply, and it works in any chat. On the day you get the original message and the person’s name, which opens your chat with them, so replying takes one tap. The bot also sets up meetings with Google Meet and keeps a list of people and deals.
Meetings and Google Calendar
The organizer connects Google once, and the bot creates an event with Meet in their calendar. The other person taps “Agree” on the card, signs in with Google, and their email is added to the event. Everyone who tapped “Remind me” gets a message 10 minutes before and at the start. To reschedule, just change the event in the calendar: the bot checks for changes every 5 minutes and updates the card.
Folybot asks only for the calendar.events.owned permission (events on calendars you own), and only from the person organizing a meeting. With it, the bot creates an event with Google Meet when you ask for one, adds the attendees who agreed, changes its time and cancels it at your request. The bot touches only the events it created and does not read the rest of your calendar. Google data is not sold, not shared with others and not used to train AI. Folybot’s use of information received from Google Workspace scopes will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

- Pro — 400 ⭐ for 30 days. For people with more than 10 things going on. Unlimited reminders and deals, and “Other” rewrites a draft with AI in the language of your conversation. The Telegram Stars subscription renews automatically; cancel any time in Telegram settings and Pro lasts until the end of the paid period.
A limit never blocks what you already have: old reminders still fire and deals stay editable. The bot offers Pro only when you hit a limit.
Questions
Does the bot read my chats?
No. It gets only the messages you forward to it and the ones you reply to with a mention of @folybot.
What does the other person see?
If you forwarded the message to the bot, nothing. If you replied with a mention, they see your reply with the time and the bot’s short 🔔. The reminder itself, confirmations and deals are visible only to you.
What if I don’t give an hour?
The bot sets the reminder for 10:00 AM. “Morning” means 10:00 AM, “lunch” 1:00 PM, “evening” 7:00 PM. Separately, the morning digest arrives at 09:00 if you have something on that day.
Do I need Google?
Not for reminders, people or deals. Google is needed only for meetings: the organizer connects a calendar once, and the other person signs in with Google when they tap “Agree”.
What happens at the 11th active reminder, or when Pro ends?
Nothing disappears. Existing reminders still fire, and deals stay editable. The new reminder waits until you close an old one or get Pro.
Does it work on a computer?
Yes. In Telegram Desktop, “My tasks” opens in a large window with a deals table, and in a browser it’s right here, after logging in with Telegram.
How do I export or delete my data?
“My tasks” → Settings. “Export to CSV” sends a file to your chat with the bot. “Delete everything” or the /forget command removes your reminders, people, notes, deals, meetings and the Google connection; future meetings are cancelled and attendees notified. Data leaves the bot right away and the encrypted backups within 30 days.
